Privacy Policy for Wrangle

Wrangle Jobs Inc. (doing business as "Wrangle") operates https://wrangle.ai and the Wrangle services. This Privacy Policy explains the personal information Wrangle collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you.

Collection of Personal Information

We collect information you provide to us, such as account details, contact information, resume and recruiting-workspace content, communications, and other information you choose to provide. We also collect usage and device information and may receive professional information from public or licensed sources and customer-directed integrations.

Use of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information. We use personal information to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services; personalize your experience; support recruiting and talent workflows; communicate with you; prevent fraud and abuse; and comply with applicable law.

Opting Out

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To submit a request, contact support@wrangle.ai. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Data Usage and Protection

With Wrangle, none of the data we request is used to train, develop, or improve generalized AI models. Google Workspace APIs are not used to develop, improve, or train AI and/or ML models. Your data is also encrypted at rest and in transit, and shielded behind our own additional authorization mechanism.

Cookies

We use cookies to store information about your preferences, record user-specific information on which pages you access or visit, and personalize your experience on our site. You can choose to disable cookies through your browser settings, but this may affect your ability to access certain features of the site.

Third-Party Disclosure

We may disclose personal information to service providers and subprocessors that help us operate the Services, to customer-directed integrations you enable, when required by law, to protect rights or security, or with your consent. We do not sell personal information.

Advertising Preferences

Wrangle measures ad performance by sharing hashed contact details and ad click identifiers with Google when people sign up or subscribe. If you are in the United States, this measurement is on by default, and you can opt out at any time by clicking here to opt out of ad measurement (sign in if asked) or by using Global Privacy Control. If you are in another region, or we cannot determine your region, we ask for your permission first: this measurement stays off unless you turn it on in account settings.

This reporting can include your email address (hashed before it leaves Wrangle), Google advertising click identifiers, transaction identifiers, and information about account qualification, trials, and subscription payments, including event dates, payment amounts, and currency. With your explicit permission it can also include your hashed name, country, and postal code. Hashing does not make the information anonymous. Personalized advertising on Google is never turned on by default and requires separate permission; Meta, described below, can use this measurement for ad audiences. We determine your region from the country reported by our hosting provider when you use the authenticated app. These choices do not affect your access to Wrangle. This pipeline does not send candidate profiles, resumes, recruiting messages, or workspace content.

When measurement is off, because you opted out, sent a Global Privacy Control signal, or have not given permission, we send no contact details or click identifiers for you. Our Google tag may still send Google a cookieless signal that a signup or subscription happened, without advertising cookies or your contact details, which Google uses to estimate ad performance in aggregate.

We keep a record of your choices and the measurement notice applied to your account, including the country, disclosure version, and time recorded. Opting out stops future uploads through this account conversion pipeline, including records waiting to be uploaded. It does not automatically retract information already sent to Google. You can also contact support@wrangle.ai to opt out or to exercise applicable privacy rights. A Global Privacy Control signal received when you sign in, return to the app, or change settings turns measurement and personalization off.

Google explains its use of information from partner sites at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. These account preferences govern server conversion reporting and our browser signup and onboarding conversion events. Browser cookies and other site technologies are described separately above.

We also measure and run ads on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). On wrangle.ai, visitors in the United States whose browser does not send a Global Privacy Control signal load the Meta Pixel, which sets Meta advertising cookies and tells Meta which pages were viewed and when a contact form was submitted. If you then book a demo, we tell Meta that the booking happened, with your email address and name (hashed before they leave Wrangle), the Meta cookie and click identifiers, and your browser's user agent. If the booking email belongs to a Wrangle account, we send this only when that account's ad measurement is on, and never with the identifiers of the browser that booked. In the Wrangle app, the Meta Pixel loads only while your account's ad measurement is on: it tells Meta which pages you viewed and when you started a checkout, matched to your hashed email and a hashed Wrangle user ID when your account permits sharing that data. Under the same account preference, we also tell Meta when you sign up, start a trial, start using the product, pay for a subscription (with the amount and currency), or are qualified by our sales team, with the hashed contact details described above. Meta uses this information to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who visited or used Wrangle and to people similar to them. We turn on Meta's Limited Data Use setting, which Meta applies where state law requires it. Visitors outside the United States, or whose region we cannot determine, do not load the Meta Pixel on wrangle.ai, and in the app it follows your account's ad measurement setting. You can opt out by using Global Privacy Control, by turning ad measurement off in account settings, or by contacting support@wrangle.ai. Meta explains its use of this information in the Meta Privacy Policy.
